EMERGING TRENDS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

Wireless-enabled communications are experiencing unprecedented sustained growth worldwide. At the same time, the technical challenges in designing such systems are growing increasingly severe. This Colloquium is intended to bring together the industrial and academic community in Ireland working in this field to exchange information and share their results. Contributions are sought describing work of high scientific novelty or strong application significance around the broad theme of emerging trends in wireless communications. Selected contributions will be presented at a One-Day Colloquium to be held in Academy House, 19 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Ireland on Thursday 24th April 2008.

DATES:
Submission (2-page summary): 8 Feb 2008
Acceptance: 22 Feb 2008
Final paper: 28 Mar 2008

Prospective contributors are invited to submit a two-page (electronic) summary of a proposed contribution (including diagrams and references) through the URL portal: http://ria-crs2008.trackchair.com by Friday 8th Feb, 2008.

Contributions for oral/poster presentation will be selected by a Review Committee and authors notified by Friday 22nd February 2008. Oral presentations of ordinary papers will be of 15 minutes duration.

Contributors will be required to provide final electronic PDF versions of their papers (four pages maximum, including references) in advance by Friday 28th March 2008.

Registration fees: Full registration: €110. Student registration: €69. Retired: €75.
